Preventative Health Partnerships is always seeking extraordinary men and women to work on our behalf, whether swabbing patients for PGX testing -or- greeting and taking meetings with physicians on our behalf, in the various markets we represent.

You are the constant, reliable face of PHP.    As such we have to be picky.   We are not looking for everyone ~ And our physicians appreciate our selectivity!

When it comes to you ~ We don't want our PHP Techs to just be good   ~  You have to be absolutely fantastic!

We need our doctors to metaphorically speaking, 'fall head over hills' with your presence {Or your ability to make yourself relatively invisible} ~ There's just too much at stake ~ We will not make the mistake of hiring amateurs who will most assuredly get us kicked out of the very clinics we've worked so hard to get into.  (Hasn't happened once and we seek to keep it that way!)

Our Techs work in many capacities, including administering the oral swab to facilitate our PGX test  ~ Helping doctors to "Do No Harm."  And their patients are counting on you to reveal answers that are often unknown to even the most remarkably gifted doctor.

Preventative Health Partnerships staffs clinics across the U.S., throughout Puerto Rico and Hawaii -- with our elite team of staff members who we train to assist with our CME Training, To take pitch meetings on our behalf and to launch Pharmacogenetic testing in clinics and hospitals.
Many of the photos above represent compassionate, honest, professional PHP Medical Technicians who perform non invasive oral swabs to secure for Pharmacogenetic Testing  ~  From Social Workers, Fire Fighters to Registered Nurses ~ Phlebotomists, Computer Scientists, Military Medics, and Medical Students  --  Hospital Administrators and Pharmaceutical Sales Executives frequently join our group of 'caped crusaders.'    We feel very lucky to attract the best of the best.   Working in concert with a practice's staff, without upsetting or disturbing their dynamics  ~  Obtaining the most critical data needed for genotyping with a simple 15 second oral swab  ~ These professional, yet very personable Preventative Health Partnerships Med Techs help us to thrive.

Our Techs Tell Us That They Are Honored To Serve As Medical Professionals.

Preventative Health Partnerships Med Techs are thrilled to have this opportunity to work in the prestigious lifesaving industry-- and alongside brilliant physicians.  We have the best men and women working on our behalf.

Med Techs swab patients mouths for tissue samples-- not saliva; which we then send to our preferred labs, using pre paid Fed-Ex envelopes.   All at no cost to the physician.

2.)   PHP Techs must also submit a background check.
3.)   PHP Techs must purchase and wear clean; preferably new, never soiled solid-color scrubs.
4.)   PHP Techs receive training via a highly engaging, colorful, easy to comprehend, PDF.
5.)   Pay is based on fair market value; PHP remains compliant with Anti-Kick Back Laws.
6.)   Paid PHP Techs cannot be currently employed by the physician/clinic and be paid by PHP.
7.)   Paid PHP Tech cannot be an immediate family member or spouse of the physician.
8.)   PHP Techs cannot work in any other capacity for the physician or clinic.
9.)   PHP Techs cannot assist patients physically in any manner. (i.e. opening doors, assisting with wheelchair, etc.)  For your protection, and the patient's protection -- as well as the protection of the clinic's liability ~ Swab, and step out of the way.  Move away from the patient.

Why These Medication Sensitivity Tests Are So Important?

Our Med Techs enjoy each opportunity to offer patients our "safety insurance policy"   --  Safety for now and well into the future through Pharmacogenetic Testing.   The Test covers 80% of medicines out there.   In many cases the test is free to patients.

Because of the test you'll swab for, the doctor you'll work will now be able to Replace the  “Trial and Error Method” of prescribing and instead provide; the Right Dose, Right Medication, to the Right Patient on  First Attempt.    Pharmacogenetics  -- The essence of do no harm medicine.

At last, answers to the question  "What is this patient's individualized genetic predisposition to metabolize a  medication?"  We provide a greater level of certainty previously invisible and unknown -- until your life-saving non invasive swab.  No more guessing for doctors.

•  Your work -- and the opportunity to introduce doctors to one of the latest developments in medicine, is profound.
•  Your work helps to dramatically reduce doctor's liability exposure.
•  Your work lessens re-admission rates.
•  Your work helps to improve doctor's qualify of care for patients.

Superhero Tips:

Preventative Health Partnerships is constantly complimented on our choice of Med Techs and their professionalism.  Thanks Docs!  We will continue to choose carefully.

*  Be seen but never excessively heard; Be mindful of distracting habits i.e.: Clicking ink pen, whistling, gum chewing, cell phone ringer on (cell phones must be placed on silent); Be mindful of talking too loud or too much; chatting it up with clinic staff.  While our Techs become the talk of the clinic town -- envied for the value they bring to their doctors; as valued Independent Contractors... Remember -- You are not there to socialize or pal up with the staff.

*  At all times be aware of your surroundings.

*  Stay out of the way of  the doctor while she or he is seeing a patient.

*  Remove yourself whenever possible from Patient /Dr. interactions once your job is done.

*  While you will require a copy of the insurance card and medication list, be careful not to needlessly burden office Med Assistants, Nurses and other staff members with cumbersome requests.

*  Always review HIPAA rules and regulations to stay current; always protecting patients records.

*  Do not engage patients to explain diagnosis, etc.

*  Do not ask anyone in the clinic how to do your job.

*  Do not hog the fax machine or computers.
